SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP FOR QUALITATIVE RESEARCH
If you have interest and/or expertise in qualitative research and the behavioral science aspects of physical therapy practice and education, the Special Interest Group for Qualitative Research (SIG-QR) invites you to join our SIG. We offer programming and hold a business meeting each year at the Combined Sections Meeting. One important function of our group is to encourage networking among novice and experienced qualitative researchers. In addition, we aim to encourage and promote qualitative inquiry that compliments quantitative approaches to investigation and furthers a wholistic understanding of physical therapy practice and education. Our program committee has begun planning for the SIG-QR program at CSM in 2005 -- so look for further information in the next Section on Research newsletter. If you would like further information on the SIG-QR, feel free to contact Elizabeth Mostrom, PT, PhD at: Elizabeth.mostrom@cmich.edu
or (989) 774-2349.
