Kalie Reams, SPT Attended FAF

This year the section made the decision to sponsor a student, Kalie Reams, to attend the Federal Advocacy Forum. Kalie is a second year student at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, and prior to attending the FAF her only advocacy or legislative experience was attending the Kentucky Advocacy Day the month before.  When asked about her experience she said that she walked away from the forum with new skills, knowledge and friends. She also learned just how much work goes into advocating for the profession, and encourages everyone to at least attend one of these events—even if it is just to learn about the important work that is done for the profession.
