Section on Research Supports Student Assembly

Andrew Sammi, accompanied by Dr. Pam Levangie and Student Assembly Director Samantha Letizio, was one of the recipients of a free textbook.

On Saturday, February 11th at CSM in Chicago, the Section on Research supported the Student Assembly by participating in the Assemblys Social Media Scavenger Hunt organized by Student Assembly Directory, Samantha Letizio (Simmons College, Boston). At 2:15, students were alerted via Facebook and Twitter that 3 copies of Levangie and Norkins Joint Structure and Function: A Comprehensive Analysis (F.A. Davis, Publishers) were available at the SOR booth, first come first serve! Dr. Pamela Levangie (Secretary of the Section and co-author of the text) was at the booth to sign the copies and chat with students. All three copies were gone by 2:16pm! Many thanks for Samantha for organizing the event and to F.A. Davis for contributing the texts. The Section on Research will continue to look for ways to reach out to and to include students as part of Section on Research activities. We look forward to hearing from you.
