Paul Kline, PT, DPT, PhD, Chair, Nominating Committee of the Biomechanics SIG, has been selected by the Academy of Physical Therapy Research as a 2020 recipient of the Emerging Leader Award. He is one of thirty four members to earn this distinguished award in 2020.
Dr. Kline was nominated by the Academy’s leadership to recognize his accomplishments and contributions to the profession and APTA, early in his career. Here is an excerpt from his nomination letter:
“Paul is a dedicated worker with an easy-going personality and a dry sense of humor. He easily connects to the students and coworkers around him and presents information clearly and concisely. We look forward to watching him continue to grow as an independent scientist, educator, and clinician as he transitions out of his postdoctoral fellowship.”
Dr. Kline will be recognized in the December issue of PT in Motion Magazine. We thank Dr. Kline and all of the early career leaders that contribute their energy and talents to making the Academy a strong institution for supporting physical therapy research.
