APTA Launches Physical Activity Campaign!

Too many Americans don’t move enough, but PTs and PTAs are perfectly positioned to help Americans choose more movement and better health. That’s the message APTA is sharing in its latest public awareness campaign, which launched today and will make a significant impact in our association’s centennial year of 2021.

Much like our award-winning anti-opioid campaign, which launched in 2016, our new physical activity initiative will leverage the reach of APTA’s ChoosePT.com consumer-focused website to deliver messages, including an enhanced ChoosePT toolkit featuring shareable resources for components and members.

Similar to that campaign, we will develop public service announcements for TV and radio, to be released next year along with a paid advertising campaign. Please ensure that your members have updated their Find a PT profile so that consumers can contact them for an evaluation.
